The Gobi Dreamer Program Has Launched - Who Will Claim a Free Entry Spot for Ultra Gobi 400km 2025?
For the first time in Ultra Gobi history, a second chance opens after the official registration has closed.
The organizing committee is now offering five Gobi Dreamer spots—free entry opportunities for those whose personal story moves, motivates, or simply stays with us. This is not about speed or podium finishes. It’s about the reasons that lead someone to take on 400 kilometers in one of the most remote places on earth.

Since its inception, the Ultra Gobi Series has aimed to create an experience that goes far beyond a running competition. It is a platform for personal growth, fostering friendships and collaboration, rediscovering nature, and cross-cultural dialogue—in the spirit of the ancient Silk Road and those who once traveled it.
We know that not everyone has the resources to take part in this journey. Some may have missed out on one of the coveted entry spots, while others may be held back by the financial commitment. That’s why the organizing committee has launched the Gobi Dreamer Program— to offer five individuals the chance to join the 2025 Ultra Gobi 400km, with their entry fee of $3,500 fully covered.
Who can apply?
Anyone who feels a strong personal connection to the journey of traversing 400km through the Gobi Desert. Whether it’s a search for meaning, a step in your personal transformation, or the ultimate test of endurance—your story is what counts.
We want to hear what drives you. What moment, memory, or dream brought you to this point? Why this race? Why now?
To be eligible for selection, applicants must meet the official entry criteria for Ultra Gobi 400km:
You must be 18 years of age or older.
You must have completed at least one 100-mile (160km) non-stop race between April 10, 2023 and Mai 14, 2025.

All submissions will be reviewed and voted on by past Ultra Gobi 400km finishers.
The five most compelling applications will be selected.
Winners will be announced on May 20 and the race registration fee of $3,500 will be waived/fully refunded*.
*Please note: This program covers the race entry fee only. Travel, gear, and accommodation costs remain the responsibility of the participant.
